All is now set for the X-TOUCH Next-Gen Football Star Quest, a three-day elite football scouting camp scheduled to take place in Ibadan from January 7–9, 2026, with Adeyemi Football Club (Adeyemi FC) confirmed as the official host.
The camp, organised by UK-based next-generation football agency X-TOUCH Sports, will be held at Barracks Stadium, Ibadan, and will bring together some of the most promising young footballers as part of a structured pathway to European football opportunities.
X-TOUCH Confirms Final Preparations for Ibadan Football Star Quest with Adeyemi FC Support:
Final preparations for the programme were recently concluded following a late-stage coordination visit by X-TOUCH founder and FIFA-licensed agent OlaOlu Adedayo to the Adeyemi family in Dortmund, Germany, where operational alignment and delivery details were confirmed. The visit reaffirmed the support of Bundesliga star Karim Adeyemi, with the initiative officially backed through the Karim Adeyemi Foundation and Adeyemi FC.
As host club, Adeyemi FC will lead local delivery of the programme, providing technical expertise, coaching personnel, facilities coordination, and safeguarding oversight—reinforcing the club’s reputation as a leading youth development hub in Ibadan.
X-TOUCH Sports, founded in Southampton, England, is focused on bridging underrepresented African talent with European football pathways and has recently strengthened its technical framework with the appointment of veteran German coach Thomas Geist as Strategic Technical Adviser.
Speaking ahead of the camp, Abiodun Adeyemi, Chairman of Adeyemi FC, confirmed that over 100 athletes will be camped during the three-day programme.
“This is about discovering the next football star. By the end of the camp, a select number of players will be identified and guided toward the next stage of their football development,” he said.
The camp will target players aged 16–19, featuring high-intensity training sessions, tactical workshops and competitive assessment games delivered by X-TOUCH scouts, Adeyemi FC coaches, and representatives of Karim Adeyemi Foundation. Standout players may earn opportunities within European academies or clubs aligned with X-TOUCH’s international network.
Reacting to the finalisation of preparations, OlaOlu Adedayo said:
“With Adeyemi FC hosting and Karim Adeyemi Foundation fully supporting, everything is now in place to deliver a credible and impactful scouting experience. This is about execution and opportunity.”
For aspiring footballers, the X-TOUCH Next-Gen Football Star Quest represents a focused, professionally delivered pathway—hosted by a trusted local club, supported by an international football family, and designed to open real doors beyond Nigeria.
